It’s getting close to Christmas – I know! I know! – and there are so many wonderful design books coming out just in time to fill those stockings. Here are some of my favorite recently published books that will make great gifts:First up, Phoebe Howard has come out with her second book – and like her previous one, it is filled with luscious photographs of her beautiful interiors.The book is divided up by rooms – the first chapter is The Entry, of course!The Living Room chapter features this beauty with its lacquered lettuce green walls!Phoebe Howard is one of my favorite designers, I love her soothing aesthetic. The book has page after page of idea-filled rooms for both the designer and the homeowner. A definite must – have for the design library.

To order from Amazon, click below:My next favorite is Tricia Foley’s newest book, Life/Style. Foley is known for being one of the first designers who favored all white interiors. In her latest, she takes the reader on a journey – the story of her beloved Long Island house. I adore books that are about one house, so I really enjoyed this one. Foley’s neighbor and best friend, actress Isabella Rossellini, wrote the forward.One of the original total Lifestyle designers, Foley is about quiet, all white interiors. The book has gorgeous photographs that are like paintings.I love this – a garage turned studio.A shot of the inside.To order, click below:Next up is Timothy Whealon’s In Pursuit of Beauty.Timothy Whealon became hugely famous on the blogdom with this domino-published house. Who doesn’t remember it? This house remains a favorite for so many of us.In Whealon’s new, and first, book, he filled it with photographs from his extensive portfolio. This entry is another crowd favorite. I love what Whealon did with this space!!!And, another favorite house. Love this room!!I hadn’t realized how many houses Whealon had designed that were favorites. It’s nice to see his all his work showcased together in this lovely book!!To order, click below:And…The Fall 2015 issue of Milieu is out. As always, it’s a stunner. The highlight of this issue is the newly remodeled Washington DC house of Darryl Carter.Oh My Gosh!! Be still my heart!!!!!!Here’s a teaser. The man is a genius!!! This room is stunning.
